How long does redness last for after plugged duct/mastitis

Hi,

Basically baby teething do reduced milk intake and so I got engorgement. This was Saturday morning, started antibiotics Sunday lunch, the pain is better but the area is still very very red. No fever or other symptoms at the moment. Any ideas how long until the redness should fade. Slightly nervous in the current circumstances about it progressing and not getting any treatment thanks.

Thanks for your reply the pain is still gone but redness remains though a bit better, seems to go up and down xx
