Reflux and not CMPA

My 12 week old daughter has been fussy and very cranky on the bottle since birth. She was on EBM until 2 months. GP thought it was reflux and prescribed gaviscon which made her constipated so started her on omeprazole. Then the pediatrician thought she might have CMPA. Now she’s been on similac for 10days and it’s got worse. Apart form being fussy during and after feeds, dry skin, runny nose and noisy breathing she doesn’t have any other symptoms. She’s never had any bowel problems nor any eczema. My question is that is it possible she just has reflux and not CMPA? I don’t want to keep trying different formulas and she not have an allergy becaus she hates the taste. Anyone else been through this and found out they didn’t have CMPA?

could it be that the dry skin, being fussy and noisy breathing are symptoms of non-ige CMPA? As far as I understand eczema is less common. I know I Hace been diagnosed with CMPA and I rarely get eczema, no I’m totally DF I never get it Smile

There’s been no improvement in her symptoms. She’s refusing feeds now. How long before I see an improvement. I’m loosing my mind. 😩

Pretty much the same story with my DD. Add it in to it viral wheeze, loud snoring, multiple hospital admissions for lung infections- she was diagnosed with aspiration.

@CatToddlerUprising poor baby! Her pediatrician is also thinking she may have dysphasia but what’s ti rule out reflux and CMPA first. She’s 3 months next week and is still feeding like a newborn. I think she’s got feeding aversion now. I hope we find a formula that works for her.
