No, it's huge and really nice, and when I was there (when Wimbledon was on), they had a TV on showing the tennis.

Mothercare seems to be a mixed bag. Some of the stores are shocking - don't even have toilets (closed off coz they are broken). I certainly don't rely on them anymore.

i think all the john lewis stores are like that/ the one in edinburgh has a gorgeous view of the city.

The John Lewis in Reading is second to none as well. They have a large room with a big toilet and a little toilet, ample CLEAN changing mats, a curtained off area to b/f and space to out your pushchair/buggy.

Mothercare
The one in Newbury was amazing with a glider chair to feed, free nappies/wipes but the one in Swindon is like a health hazard. I would rather b/f in the car....

The JL one at Bluewater has separate bottle and bf feeding areas with big sofas (bottle one is right by the door, bf one you have to go right through the parent room and round a wall to) and lots of nice clean mats, drinking water etc. Also the parent and child double toilet which you can get a pushchair into.
Mothercare at Bluewater has lovely (separate) bf room with rocker chairs, free breast pads and magazines.

Cant say the JL in Newcastle is that great. OK, there's a water fountain, but no views, in fact there are no windows, but on the positive side there is a curtain that divides the feeding area from the changing area

The Weston-super-Mare Mothercare feeding room was lovely. Cold water dispenser, soft lighting and Dutalier chairs with footstools. Sat in there quite happily for an hour or so

Selfridges still has the squishy chairs in the 3rd floor loo - and best of all in the loos opposite they don't have any doors to open, so if you're a nutty OCD hygiene freak you don't have to worry that people have touched the door after not washing their hands.

I haven't been to John Lewis, but they have that lovely new bistro/brasserie section hidden very well behind the garden furniture on, I think, the 5th or 6th floor, so I will check it out soon.

I'll check out Selfs 3rd floor, sounds good - I am surprised they have a good room as I always find their customer service is terrible. But I guess rich tourists have kids too, that's probably why.

Mamas and Papas, lovely private rooms

in contrast: London Bridge baby room / disabled loo = not a nice place to bf.

Also terrible, Giraffe Kensington High Street. As it's a 'child-friendly' restaurant, you might think they'd give a thought to women with babies as well, as the two often come together. But the loo is tiny, dirty, and doesn't even have a flat place by the sink, let alone a changing table. I know lots of restaurants are the same, but I thought Giraffe would be better.
