Going up a teat size

Hi everyone,

My baby boy has been taking Dr Brown's bottles from 4 weeks and we've had no issues with them.

The past few of days he was taking ages to finish his bottles, fussing and falling asleep. As he's 12 weeks on Sunday I thought a size 2 teat was the next step.

During the day they don't seem to be a problem despite there being more dribble, but the last two nights he's even really crabby and windy. Lots of hiccups. Tonight he had a vomit too. When he was younger he'd gave bad evenings but this is not like him.

I tried him again with a size 1 and he took ages to drink 1oz and fell asleep! Has anyone had this problem where 1 is too slow and 2 is too fast? What should we do? Persevere with the size 2's and see if he adjusts? Give him a few more days in size 1 and try again?
Any advice would be greatly received!
