I wrote asking him to sign EDM 1963, he asked for more info if you remember. I sent him some bits and pieces, he replies that he doesn't see that different wording on a carton of milk will make a difference to a mother's decision to bf.

He goes on to say that he's on my side (by which I imagine he means he supports bf), but believes the law is getting in the way of people's own choice and common sense.

So, is there anything I can say that really explains it? Or shall I just say thanks anyway.

Personally, I think the law as it stands is rubbish anyway, so I'm kind of with him on that. But requiring companies to abide by the law shouldn't be too controversial should it?

i would have thought it was a prerequisite of being a company - that they abide by the law shocking that it isn't, isn't it?

It's all a bit lame. Presumably trading standards are afraid of the formula companies' lawyers. I imagine they have rather good ones!
