Microwave sterilising - help pls

Hi,

I am a first time mum and need some help with microwave sterilising. I have bought a Philips Avent microwave steriliser and steriliser my bottles and breast pump. After the sterilising cycle is complete in the microwave, my bottles and parts are still wet from the condensation - is it okay to use the bottles and breast pump straight away even though they are wet? I.e pour milk into the bottles despite them being wet / use my breast pump to collect milk despite being wet? Or will the mix of the water and milk cause any harm to baby?

If I take everything out after sterilising and let it dry on a paper towel then I guess that defeats the purpose of sterilising right?

It's absolutely fine to use them straight from the steriliser - you don't need to dry them first.

Yep it's fine. Just give them a shake.
