Some are thin and not as absorbent. Get some off an eco website bamboo ones are good.

I got painful nipple thrush (and baby got it in his mouth) twice from the Bamboobies ones in the early days when I was super-leaky so I really don't recommend those. I threw them away. I guess if I had a time machine, I'd have disposable pads for the first 6 weeks then when my milk supply was more regulated (no more random milk outbursts lol) I'd switch to the disposable. I'm at 7 months BF and don't use any, now, though, as I never leak anymore.
