SIMILAC INFANT 'READY-TO-FEED' IN UK?

Hello ladies!

So after spending nearly 2 hours searching through the internet, this is my last resort before I give up!
I am trying to find the 'Similac Infant' pre-made bottles which seem to be everywhere in the US but no one seems to ship to the UK and I can't find it anywhere here 😩
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

We don't have Similac here but other brands do ready-to-feed newborn bottles e.g. Aptamil and SMA.

Any advice on where I could possibly get this anyone? ☹️

I doubt you will. Its an american company, and many american produs don't comply with Eu regulations so won't be shipped here.

Hipp, aptimal, and most other uk or European brands all do a ready to feed version.

It is shipped here and you used to be able to buy it in Boots, my daughter had it for extra calories on prescription a few years ago before surgery, though it was one that was only prescribed and this was in 2016/2017.

It is on amazon UK but is very expensive.

Mummac7 · 25/02/2020 16:23

Brilliant thank you, I'll see if boots can still get hold of any!
I wouldn't use any of the other UK/European ones on the market so I shall give this a try!

Genuinely out of interest, I'm not being snarky, why would you never use a European brand? Are there significant differences?

sweetpea2811 · 25/02/2020 17:08

I was wondering the same thing. I know a lot of parents in America who import UK and European formulas because they don't want to use theirs. So I'm interested in your reasonings too!

Mummac7 · 25/02/2020 17:12

I've done extensive research on all the ingredients etc and I just wouldn't use any of the UK/ European ones I've researched that's all. Smile

Interesting perspective. Research I have read seems to suggest that european formulas are better babyformulaexpert.com/european-formula/

Each to their own 😊

I have been getting infant formula from formulaRUs website for quite sometime now. You can check it out. Maybe you might find what you are looking for.

Thank you for your message Thank you for your message Katherine Smile
Unfortunately I've checked with them before & they don't sell similac but I have now found someone who does! Yay!
