Baby crying in breastfeeding position

Hello
My 3 month old was crying for 5-10 minutes straight until she gave in. She was showing signs of hunger and sleepiness but does not feed when I try. She cries the instant I put her horizontal on my lap to feed her. She's better if I hold her upright on my shoulder. While on my lap she continuously arches her back while crying so much as if she's in pain. I don't what what the reason may be? Is there a possibility there's trouble in her back? Worried mama who's waiting for a call back from the family doc clinic. :(

Could it be reflux? Ear infection? Could you feed in a more upright position eg the koala hold, biological nurturing position. it's horrible when your baby is so upset and you can't work out what is wrong Flowers

Can you tried laid back feeding - best position imo and has her more upright. But yes reflux sounds possible.
