Have taken a couple of doses of Kalms today - older dc driving me mad! - then realised I shouldn't be taking them whilst bf! - Ds2 (3 weeks) has slept loads today as well - could this be because of Kalms and should I be worried?
Also anyone know of a safe alternative to reduce stress - safely - whilst bf?

Don't worry about the bf this time. Once won't do any permanent damage! If you were doing that regularly it would be too much for his mini kidneys and liver to cope with.
Flower essences are good for stress the most common is the Bach Rescue remedy which you would add to water and drink. This is fine whilst bf. There are more specific remedies for different causes of stress. The Australian Bush flowers are very good and very specific so maybe Google it and see which would suit you.
Also KALI-PHOS is f**king brilliant for stress! It's homeopathic potassium phosphate and I've found it very helpful indeed! Get the 30c dose. It'l say on bottle how to use it. Most chemists stock it. totally fine whilst bf.
also think about your diet. Calming foods contain potassium. bananas grapes potatoes brown rice beans. Stress inducing foods are high salt foods like processed meats, refined sugar, caffein and alcohol (because it depleets b vitamins which you need to be calm) omega oils in oily fish and good quality cold pressed oils such as flax will help. Or get a whole grain bread with seeds.
Hope you feel better soon. xx
