i've been having a few problems with bub, blocked ducts, mastitis, thrush here

we are both being treated for thrush at the moment. when she came off the breast earlier, there was a "string" coming from her mouth to my nipple. i thought it was a hair, but when i pulled it it just kept coming and seems to be coming from me.......eeeew.

is this due to the thrush or something else?

Well, blocked ducts are blocked with kind of congealed milk. Do you think this was something like that?

not sure f&z...i have pain into armpits but though that was the thrush. no obvious red patches or swelling.

Oh Daisy!!!
Hope someone will be about who will know what this is about??

It sounds like it's the stuff that's blocking the ducts working it's way out. Massage your breast gently towards your nipple and try and work it all out it sometimes comes out in strings or congealed lumps but it's good it's coming out. However if you do get anymore pain see the gp.

i've just had a look on kellymom and it could be blocked ducts but could also be due to thrush. i need to get myself back to the docs.

noticing as she gets older that dd has inheritted dh's chin (he's a bit of a chinless wonder) and seems to have an overbite. could this perhaps be the primary cause of all my troubles? her latch has never been particularly great.
