Size 1 teats too slow, size 2 too fast (MAM)

9 week old DS, formula fed. Suffers from terrible trapped wind, improved slightly since switching from Aptamil to Hipp Organic. Using MAM bottles which recommend size 2 teats from 2months. He seems to be losing suction on his size 1 teats all the time ( I don't know if this is because he's sucking too hard. He's also started being sick during winding.
Have tried him with size 2, upright with slow paced feeding with regular breaks, but he seems to also lose suction on these and milk dribbles down his chin constantly.
Do I persevere with size 2? Does it just take a few days to adjust? Or stick to size 1s for a while?

Any advice welcome!

I have this same problem. Did you persist with size 2?

Yes we did. He's 20 weeks now and I feel like he still hasn't got used to them. He still loses suction, and has since then dropped his formula intake massively.
In hindsight I wish I'd stuck with size 1s until he was taking forever to finish a feed, because now I think he got put off by the flow being too fast. I've tried going back to size 1s but he won't even entertain them because he's used to the faster flow.

Hope you get sorted soon xx
