Baby feeding less with cold

Hi,

My 14 week (7 week adjusted) baby has a cold and has reduced the amount he is breast feeding as I'm feeling more full. When I express I don't get much out. I've had issues with my supply in the past and I'm quite worried this will be the end as my supply will decrease as he eats less. Had anyone else has experience of this?

Thanks

Really don't worry about your supply. You can try breast compressions to encourage feeding and using a nasal aspirator.

Try feeding LO in a steamy room too, like in the bathroom with the shower running.

Some Karvol might help too and if you ate really concerned about your supply, I'd call one of the BFing Helplines. Have you got the numbers? Smile
