Does anyone know if it’s worth spending the extra on the day and night new version of the perfect prep machine or is it no better than the original?

On the Tommee Tippee website it’s £129.99 whereas the original version is £69.99.

The main differences seem to be that it’s quieter and it take you through each step with instructions. The water tank is also lit so that you can see how much water is left.

I suppose where it’s worth the difference depends on several factors:

How often do you think you’ll be using it?

Is the extra money an issue or could it go on other items for the baby?

Do you think the quieter model is worth it? (I’m assuming that if you are making feeds up in the night, the baby is probably awake anyway).

Will other people use it, for example DGP, making the simple instructions a bit easier for them and a bit more reassuring for you knowing that baby has the right amount of formula to water ratio in the bottle.
