Breastmilk in hot climates

Hello, I'm wondering if any experts could help, please? We are going away on holiday to Australia in two weeks and my LO will be 2 months and I'm still breastfeeding despite having severe anxiety with it. Of course, I want to breastfeed as much as possible but for those times I can't, I will be bringing expressed milk. My question is, will milk that has been expressed be suitable to be stored in the baby bag in really hot climates or will I need to take precautionary measures (cool bag) to keep the milk safe. I'm sorry if this seems like a silly question, I just can not find anything about the storage of expressed milk in higher temperatures anywhere online. If anyone can please could you send me the link. Kind regards

I lived in oz. Would store in fridge or cooler box, only have it in baby bag about 30 mins max or it ont be suitable. I was told this whilst living there by my midwife. Have a great holiday!

Kelly Miom is the font of all knowledge. I can't do a link in the phone but Google Kelly Mom Breastmilk storage.

I have heard temperature doesn’t make a difference but I would use a cool bag personally. I had the Koodi for travel and it was decent.

Only other point is that you’ll be in full summer and a lot of places are air-conditioned. So if you go from home to car to shops to cinema or whatever you might not be in the heat for any more than a few seconds.

I live in Australia - Kellymum is great for information. I keep breast milk out at room temp (up to 26 degrees) for 4 hours. My midwife told me that breast milk doesn't go off just looses its potency and amount of good stuff in it.
