Breastfeeding / returning to work

I'm returning to work let time in a few weeks a d my son will be 7 months old.

We currently combi feed, a few bottles of formula a day, but mainly Breastfeeding.

I'm wondering whether I should start reducing the breastfeeds during the day now to make it an easier transition for when I am at work?

I can sometimes express, but need a few hours for milk to build up to get a decent amount. He has started on solids but very inconsistent as he has had colds on and off.

Any advice appreciated, I'd love to hear about others experiences about returning to work when lo is this young!

I'm not wanting to stop Breastfeeding completely but recently I have started to feel a little 'trapped' by it, for want of a better word. Perhaps this retuning to work could provide a good opportunity to find more balance.

If you're already combi feeding, I think I would just feed before you take him to childcare, feed when you get him home and let him have a bottle (if he needs one) in between. I wouldn't worry about pumping (just take breast pads the first week or two in case you leak) and I wouldn't worry about restricting breastfeeding on the days you're at home. Just let your body adapt and sort itself out - it should be able to do this no problem.
