Fussiness at breast and vomiting

Hi
I'm a first time mommy of a 1 month old. I just had an episode of fussiness on my breast where my baby has been tugging and fighting my nipple as if she's extremely hungry and is trying to get more milk out of me (that's what I see it as, I honestly don't know why she was behaving that way). She then proceeds to suckle for a couple of minutes and goes back to wailing and tugging. She seemed frustrated. I was worried my milk supply was out and upon giving it a squeeze, I did produce milk so I'm not sure what's wrong. After another attempt she Manages to get the nipples back in her mouth and vomits so much milk that it makes me wonder why she was feeling in the first place if all that fit in her stomach! Help! Has anyone else faced this and can provide some insight/guidance? Thanks

Sounds like she might have been going to the breast for comfort if she had wind pain and needed to burp. I’m in a habit of feeding my baby if he’s upset at all when some of the time he probably doesn’t need a feed, and I need to stop. It’s hard to know what they need.

Nothing you're doing sounds like she's a bit collicy or has tummy ache. Try some drops xx

Sounds like bub needed to burp then possibly did burp and vomited at the same time.

Keep an eye on it, if it happens regularly mention it to your health nurse.
