Changing formula

I am currently feeding my boy on SMA. He is quite sucky on this and I want to change. Is it ok to just change over or do I have to wean into it?

Also is 150ml every 3 hours too much feed for a 4 week old?

I think if your baby allows it (takes to the new formula) you should be okay? Not 100% sure on this though but have known people who had to switch.
Isn't 150ml about 5oz? I would say if he is happy taking that much and is a good weight I wouldn't say it was too much.
My DS was on about the same I think and stayed on 5oz for a while. At about 3 months he took 6oz and now 5 months and is on 7oz. They will let you know if they're hungry or full so don't worry too much. My DS only really ever takes 6oz on a good feed but put 7oz incase he ever wants it. Sometimes he'll only take 4oz. Spoke to HV about this and he's putting on weight and she said he's content, lots of wet nappies so he just might not be that hungry sometimes.
If you breastfeed you can never really know how much they're getting.
