Hey all, so my wife has been pumping as our little one was tongue tied and sadly never took to the boob so we have been bottle feeding her breast milk, she's now 5 weeks old and my wife and I "was" going to move over to formula as it's really starting to take it out of my wife having to feed/change nappy/and then pump in the night (as I work night shift) but here's the problem, my wife suffers from Depression and takes a high dose of Venlafaxine "225mg" so when we decided to start introducing the formula our little girl started to be different, "screaming all the time, never sleeping, waking up as soon as we tried putting her down, took ages to drift off only to wake when we tried putting her down, so we went back to breast milk and whoop she's sleeping not crying all the time and back to "chilled" we have tried Aptamil and SMA Pro as they are two of the "best known" in the uk, my wife said about her tablets and now we really thinking that could be the case, has anyone had this problem??

What does the packaging on the medication say?

Different formulas have different effects on babies. It might be an issue with the cow's milk protein.

But putting down and waking up etc is normal newborn behaviour
