Have read a fair bit about fenugreek helping to increase supply. I have been worried about my supply so got some and started to use it, milk supply much improved.

Has anyone else used it, how long for?

I converted to drinking fennel tea and it seemed to do the trick.
There is also another one called Milk Maid which has fennel, fenugreek, nettle and a whole load of other stuff in it to help things along, but it is a bit of an acquired taste.

crikey horse food.

Its a natural supplement also used in lots of indian food which boosts your milk supply.

My supply is better now and ds seems much more satisfied.

Not knocking it at all! I might try it myself this time as I had poor supply last time. Just very interested about it because like I said, I know it has benefits to horses who have respiratory problems.

jw, according to what I read about it, taking it until it appears to have helped your supply kick in which is probably just a few days is enough (24-72 hours), you don't have to keep on taking it once it's had the desired effect. I don't remember links but just googled fenugreek and found an article which gave me information which I felt comfortable with.
