Formula help

Hi, just hoping for some advice/reassurance around my daughter's feeding. She is formula fed. Gaining weight nicely so far. She is 3 weeks and 2 days old.

We started on cow & gate but she was sooo windy and uncomfortable, only pooing every couple of days so we switched to hipp organic and also switched to mam bottles which has helped a lot. She now poos maybe 1 - 2 times per day. She is still a touch windy but much more manageable. I'm not sure which had the biggest effect as we made both changes within a few days.

However... Since starting on hipp (around 1.5 weeks ago), she has been quite sicky. She's now sick maybe once a day and also 'drools' milk up several times a day. She doesn't seem uncomfortable with this but it's made me worry that she isn't taking to this milk either. I'm a FTM and the youngest in my family so no experience of babies. Is this just normal??

Do I need to just chill out lol - I know she's gaining weight and doesn't seem uncomfortable (other than wind) so is it fine if she's sick every day? It's not after every feed.

Thanks in advance xxx

Sounds like she might have a little reflux. It doesn’t upset them, it’s more inconvenient for us mums who get covered! Just keep a muslin square near by. Can you tell if she’s bringing up an entire feed? A little dribble is totally normal (and adorable).

Sorry, also to say try and keep her upright for half an hour if you can after a feed. It does eventually get better! Xx
