Formula storage

We've been using hipp for 5 months and I'm switching to holle as my baby has had horrible smelly gas for a few months (since immunisations) she's 6 months old. Anyway I've just noticed that I should use within 2 weeks on the packet?! She only has a bedtime bottle as my milk is short around bedtime. We never noticed the suggested time to use the powder. It's very expensive to spend £8 on a box of formula to only use a third of it and throw it. I'm wondering if it's been spoiled and that why her wind is putrid. I don't want to use single use formula as that's horrible on the environment. Also expensive!! Anyone keep the powder longer than suggested 2-3 weeks?

Sorry for long post...

I thought they said use within 4 weeks. Is it Holle that says it or Hipp,?

@dementedpixie holle is 2 weeks! We use 4 scoops a day so basically would cost us a fortune 😣
