Finally, at 8.5months, DS2 has decided that a bottle isn’t actually the work of the devil, and it is mostly an acceptable source of milk (but not comfort).
Praise the lord, hallelujah.
However, the problem is, he guzzles in about 90 seconds, what takes me 20 minutes to express (and would happily drink more).
He’s not interested in a slower teat bottle, and seems quite content with having milk at this speed (he’s never sick etc), but I’m not sure how/if I can keep up!
I’m still only really at the ‘testing’ stage of him having a bottle, a few times a day mixed with BF when he wants them.
I’ve not left him with anyone yet long enough to know if bottles all day will pan out well, but I have a KIT day in 3 weeks and I’m worried about how well he will cope/if I’ll have enough expressed.
Is it normal for them to consume it so fast? And still want more? Or could it just be while he gets used to the difference?
