Calculating ranitidine dosage

Hi,

Wonder if someone can help me calculate a dose of ranitidine.
Pharmacy says the mg / ml is a strange one.

30mg/ml
150ml bottle (150mg in each 5ml)

Infant weight 10.5kg

Thanks in advance

I used to periodically ring my Gp and leave baby's new weight with the secretary, ring back end of day/next day and they would have gotten the doc to calculate it and left it in the notes on computer so the receptionist was allowed to tell me herself. Pharmacist wasn't allowed to do it when I asked them as ranitidine is only given to infants when needed and so they like the doc to know you are still giving it (even if they were the one to prescribe it in the first place)

You don’t say how many mg per kg your DC has been prescribed? You can’t work it out without that information. If you’re concerned about the dosage I would get in contact with your doctor
