Bottle feeding

Hi, I'm currently pregnant and doing some research into feeding. I'm planning on doing combination feeding as I want to share the feeds, especially the night feeds (I have a medical condition which is triggered by lack of sleep). When sterilising bottles, they say online the bottles stay sterilised for up to 24 hours if the steriliser is unopened. This might be a really stupid question, but how do you keep the rest of the bottles in the steriliser sterile once you've opened it to remove one bottle?
Thank you

We were stumped by the answer to this too and emailed tommee tippee after we had bought their steam steriliser. They can't say anything about how long the bottles stay sterile for after the lid is opened, only reiterate that they are sterile for up to 24 hours without opening the steriliser. We didn't want to make up a load of bottles in advance so we either had to chance it and hope they were still sterile or keep turning the steriliser back on after each time we used a bottle. The faff and uncertainty of that- coupled with our steriliser having a mind of its own in terms of timings- and we have decided to just get a Milton cold water steriliser. With that you can keep taking out and adding bottles and you know for sure they are all still sterile. We find it easier and more reassuring than the steam steriliser :)

Mam bottles are great, you can self sterilise in the microwave individually and they remain sterilised for 48 hours once reassembled.

Second mam, no need for a steriliser

Take the bottles out and assemble them empty and they are ok for 24 hours

Just sterilize the whole lot in one go, open up the sterilizer once cool, assemble the bottles and leave them on the worktop until you need them
