i don't think its ever too early to start expressing if you want to boost your milk production- I remember the hospital mws giving me a breast pump before my milk came in - but as I understand it, you should wait till breastfeeding is established before giving the first bottle - and IMHO bfing can't be established before your milk comes in. If bfing is going fine, I would say do it at 2 weeks.

I agree. 2 weeks is the earliest she should introduce a bottle. If she wants to start freezing a supply beforehand that's different.
