MASTITIS !

Anyone up that can explain what mastitis feels like?

Symptoms
-yesterday had really full breasts
-pumped and massaged but still painful after
-can feel milk coming in & it is painful
-painful when baby first latch
-feeling hot & cold

I am going to get a doctor app tomorrow but any advice? Both my boobs hurt on the outer sides and I just feel so blah 🤢

Is it anything like this?

Do you have red patches anywhere on your breasts? I am on my 3rd lot of antibiotics, mine unforty developed into a galactocele (milk filled cyst with nowhere to drain) had to have a fine needle aspiration which made it a million times worse. Have up BF on Friday due to the pain.

Call your doctor and get an appointment they will let you know whether nyoi have mastitis or not. Check baby is latched correctly too.
