Hi - DD 6 months just started trying food (couple of spoonfuls of purée twice a day at the moment). She really is not keen on a bottle I’m trying ready made formula and expressed milk. The mam bottle was too big for her mouth , she wasn’t keen on the dr browns and we now are trying the Madela and although she will hold the teet in her mouth fine she won’t suck to get the milk out.

I am due to go away for the weekend for my best friends birthday and I really want to go 😫 but I can’t leave her if she won’t feed.

Any hints / tips or positive stories !

Mine was reluctant at first, didn't like Tommee Tippee, now goes for Philips Avent. One thing that helped us was warming the teat with hot water just before giving it to her. Good luck!

Sippy cup? Tommee tippee cheapy one.

Or a bottle with fast flowing teat.

Ideally someone else should give the milk when you're not in the house.

With my DS he took well to bottle once he realised he could have it warmer and it came out faster!

Should add DS was about the same age and had been ebf.

Thank you ladies 🤞🏼! Will try the rest thing. I’m going to give the dr browns another go as I think they will be the best bet.
