Medela calma- suitable for newborns?

Instructions for my Medela pump do not specify if the calma nipple/teat enclosed is suitable for newborns, does anyone know?

I actually had to ditch them pretty quickly though as the flow was so slow DD got really frustrated.

I found the same as @Fantababy - the flow was so slow that my DS was frustrated! Switched the bottles to Mam brand and he was much happier.
