Where to pump when out and about?

I have a "day off" mum duties once a week when DP takes charge of the 6mo, but I don't see many places to pump in London (or other cities I visit), so feel a bit limited when it comes to going to the library to work for the day, or out to the cinema/shops. Anyone have any tips to avoid pumping in the loos? (My local library has a breastfeeding sign on the nappy change door but there's a window in the door, so no privacy, and it's the only baby change room, so I think people will be hammering on the door!)

I think JoJo Maman Baby shops have an area to express/feed, if you happen to be near one.

Some department stores have a feeding room (I’m pretty sure that John Lewis in Oxford St do).

Pump wherever you are just like you breastfeed! It’s easier and more manageable to be discreet if you feel that’s necessary (not juggling an infant who is at risk of course overheating), but you absolutely do not need to hide away.

Also Mothercare and some Boots have feeding rooms!

Fun, I hadn't thought of that. I will try if I can work up the nerve - for some reason I am much more self-conscious about pumping than about breastfeeding. Thanks for the suggestion!
