Painful lump on nipple

DS2 is 8 weeks. During the night I latched him on and it was painful immediately, so not like a bad latch which would get more painful as the feed went on.

The pain was sort of on the inside of my nipple if that makes sense.

This morning the pain is less intense and I've noticed a hard white lump on the tip of my nipple. Is this some sort of blockage? Will just feeding alone get rid of it? Any advice would be appreciated! I fed DS1 for 3 years and got blocked ducts once or twice but it wasn't like this.

Google milk bleb/blister

Hot shower and try to massage it or or scrape gentle to get the head off

Ah thanks, I didn't really know what to google.

Urgh, that sounds painful though!
