Tommee Tippee Teat Size Help

My LO is 7 weeks old and formula feed. In the last week he's been really fussy with feeding and taking ages to finish a bottle, falling asleep a few times before finishing and just getting frustrated.
So today I've moved to Tommee Tippee size 2 teats. He is eating more but does really seem to be gulping it down and there is some milk dripping down his face. Does it take a couple of days for babies to get the hang of it? Or should I move back to size 1 teats?

I moved my baby on to size 2 at 4 weeks, as with the size 1s he was just trying so hard to feed but getting nothing from it, he did however have a severe tongue tie though, so this was definitely contributing.
He will get used to not needing to suckle so hard and the milk spilling down his face will ease off, if it’s only been one day he won’t have realised he doesn’t need to try so hard yet. It took my boy about 2-3 days to work out he didn’t have to work so hard for it.

My baby is 2 months now and the size 2s are still working great for him.

Hope this helps.
