.........if I sterilise my bottles and then put ready made formula in them, do I then have to store them in the fridge or can they be left at room temp?

I think I used to put them in the fridge, just to be safe.

Fridge, I think.

With most UHT stuff, once it's opened you have to treat it as fresh, ie in the fridge.

Pretty sure that you still need to keep them in the fridge if you're keeping for any more than a couple of hours

Thats what I thought, but wanted to double check!

We have some of those small bottles of SMA Gold but bubba is taking the whole 100ml and then is still hungry, so we have to use another bottle and most of that gets wasted. I just thought I could sterilise bottle and fill them up with the milk.

why not open the second bottle, pour some of it into another sterilised bottle and then put that spare amount in the fridge - it can then be kept for up to 24 hours. You could then use it to top up the next little bottle that you use - saves wasting half a bottle of milk.
