my 5mth old dd BF about 6-8 times a day for about 10-15 minutes. i know it's different for every baby & mother but i was just curious if this sounds about right? i'm just feeding her whenever she's hungry. about a month ago, she was feeding 10-11 times a day when she was going through her 4mth growth spurt but has dropped down to a more 'manageable' number. i'm planning on waiting until she's 6 mths to start BLW. some other mothers that i know seemed surprised that dd was still feeding that frequently - i just thought that this was normal (at least for my dd)...
