Help - teething baby won’t have milk

My DS is 6 months old in a few days and is mixed fed. He has breast milk through the night if he wakes, first morning feed and evening feed. He has formula throughout the day. He’s had teething symptoms on and off for weeks now and still no teeth, but over the last few days his bottom gums have swelled and there are hard white dots which I assume are teeth that are hopefully soon going to come through. He’s in more discomfort than ever and is now refusing a bottle of milk. He either refuses entirely or starts sucking then bursts into tears due to his painful gums. I’ve tried teething gel right before the bottle, calpol, teething powder, biting on cold teething toys but nothing is giving him much relief. Because he’s having so little milk in the day he’s now started waking frequently for night feeds and we’re both exhausted! Would a cup help him do you think, and if so, what cup? Any advice? It’s been going on a few days now, he still has wet nappies and seems hydrated but only managing about half the milk in a day that he was doing this time last week :(
