Medela double pump

Hi. Does anyone have the swing maxi double pump? I'm having a few problems with it, only just bought it too, Medela just say I should use it on the mains, but the point of me buying that was to have it hands free with the bra. Let me know xx

I had one for my kids and I used it mains, the other option is battery

I was confused as a friend said u can charge it but don’t think you can?

I had the single and found that on battery mode if the batteries were running down it could be a bit less sucky. If it's brand new the valves etc should all be fine but supposedly you're meant to change the membranes occasionally.
Are the flanges the right size?

I asked if it could be the size but they said probably not! But their advise was to use at mains but I didn't spend that much and have a pump bra to be stuck at mains!
