dr browns bottles

I have been told that Dr Browns bottles are better than Avent bottles (if you are breastfeeding, and using them for expressed milk). But I am confused as to which Dr Browns bottles I should buy for a newborn baby - and how many will I need. Any advice welcome. Thanks.
