Personally don’t see 16 months as extended. The recommended minimum is 2 years afterall.

I found Groups run by the La Leche League good and Groups run by the NCT. Have you got any of those near to you?

There's a marvellous Facebook group called breastfeeding older babies and beyond. They're lovely.
