Couldn't really find any information about this, but dd has had liquid poo/diarrhea, somewhat explosive for a few days now. She is bf, and 2.5 weeks old.

Doesn't seem to be anything wrong, just would not expect her to be pooing so wet???

I think you probably don't have to worry. Breastfed poo is really really runny (liquid in = liquid out!!!)Babies can poo after almost every feed at that very early stage too.

However, signs that things may not be OK are if your baby is not weeing much, the poo is mucousy or greeny in colour.

Any concerns I would give your GP a call - no-one will mind especially with a LO so teeny.

It's meant to be like that, as the others say. Very soft, mustardy colour, with seedy flecks - kinda curdy?

Logically, she's not taking in much "solid" as she's just drinking milk, so her poo can't be any more solid.

And yes, it really can be THAT explosive. The boys' used to foam [barf] [hopes this isn't archived for them to read when they're 20]

DD use to poo DURING every nursing session, it was most offputting trying to get the latch right with a little trumpet going off every few seconds
