Night nurse panic

Hi all

Panicking a bit...I've taken night nurse (the night dose) as I have an awful cold. I didn't think to read the packet and it says not to take while breastfeeding. My little one only feeds at night, she's 2 and a half, its possible she'll sleep through till about 3 or 4am but equally she could wake up in the next five mins and want feeding. Any advice? She doesn't feed that much anymore but I'm still worried

It might be more that the antihistamine may affect your milk supply or that you won't have your full senses if it makes you drowsy rather than it being dangerous to your lo

Thanks dementedpixie that makes sense. I looked on one website and it said similar, as well as saying it might make newborns irritable or excited but as we are way past the newborn stage I don't think I need to worry too much, plus she seems to be conked so I think I might be ok. Thanks for replying so quickly
