I wore a posh skirt and top last time I had to go to a wedding and breastfeed
Much easier

katylou25 · 02/08/2007 13:21

Yep I'd second the skirt and top idea - add a pashmina for glamour and easy cover up in one go! Not so good a look once covered in baby puke like mine was though!

Pannacotta · 02/08/2007 14:06

Also have this problem and cant find a smart enough top which I can feed in which looks ok with post baby tummy (DS2 only 11 weeks).
Any ideas anyone?
(Smocks/tunics etc not smart enough really)

yellowfrin · 02/08/2007 20:46

Pannacotta that empty handbag called my tummy is exactly my problem....

Good description yellofrin, if a bit depressing! Am still pondering how to dress said "empty handbag" for the wedding in question....

MrsBadger · 02/08/2007 21:37

camisole with wrap cardi or similar?

trixymalixy · 02/08/2007 21:43

I got a couple of nice wrap dresses on ebay.

They're not specifically breastfeeding dresses but I have a rooti tooti vest top I wear under them.

Tutter · 02/08/2007 21:45

i have this - wore it for a party with trousers underneath

the boob tops and dresses are great if you want to feed discreetly

Tutter could only get a general page from your link... was it the breastfeeding dress you meant?

MrsBadger · 02/08/2007 21:49

shopping all day to day sore feet and seriously bored baby. managed to get a lovely cardigan and a nice chamisole. Tutter that dress is gorgeous sadly only available in a small and that handbag of mine is maybe more the size of a weekend bag . Thanks ladies, Pannacotta hope u find something.

Glad you are sorted yellowfrin.
Out of interest has anyone tried a breastfeeding cami/vest top?
Can't find any smart tops for the wedding which I could feed in, so am going to get a nursing vest and wear with a shrug, just not sure which one to go for, there are lots to choose from....
(Bl Marv, Mamaway, Mamatoto etc etc)

Tutter · 06/08/2007 17:43
