Hi there, my baby is almost 1 and I'm hoping to give up breastfeeding in the near future. She's already cut feeds to morning and evening so I thought I'd try her with cows milk in a bottle when her 2 year old brother is also having some before bed. However, she's been slightly unsettled a few nights after a tiny bit and, after a lot last night, we hardly slept. She seemed to have a sore tummy and be very windy, finally slept around 1 and then up again at 5! I'd assume it is the milk but she's been having it on cereal for months so wouldn't something like this have happened sooner?? Any advice welcome. Is it worth trying again? Thank you!

If she has already been having it on cereal, its not going to be the milk itself. It could possibly be the bottle, maybe she is gulping in air. You could try a cup instead. The other option is that she is teething or has picked up a virus/bug
