Hi,

Has anyone else had any issues with Billy bear ham? I tried my son on it on Sunday and we were up vomiting and had a bad tummy bug, cos of the heatwave we assumed heat stroke but he had Billy bear again yesterday and the exact same issue.

It's ham for children so I assumed that it would be ok to try him on and he LOVED it.

I don't think it has much meat in it. Give him proper ham

Is proper ham not worse for preservatives? I'm almost certain that's what caused it or do you mean like from a butchers that is 100% fresh?

I am also a veggie so don't really have a clue on ham etc

Billy bear has only 66% meat and then some pea protein, water and other fillers. The honey roast ham I buy has over 90% meat so no need for the other crap

Thank you. I think it's because I saw it as being for children that I assumed it was ok. Meat counter it is

Doesn't have to be the meat counter. Some of the stuff in packets has high meat content too
