Moving from C&G anti-reflux to full fat cow’s milk

Hello. My little boy is 8 months old and has been on anti reflux milk for about 4 months. His reflux is now fully under control and he doesn’t have any medication - just the milk. He has 3 meals a day and at the moment 3 bottles although he is in the process of dropping his afternoon bottle. How do you transition babies to full fat cow’s milk? He has large bottles in a morning and before bed and I’m concerned about the volume of new milk and what this might do. He has no problem with cows milk in cooking/yoghurts etc but I’m aware this is only small amounts. I’m also aware that these changes won’t take place until he’s 1 - just thinking ahead.

Any advice/experiences?

I wouldn’t put him on cows milk at all to be honest. There’s a risk it makes his reflux worse.

Or I’d try upping the amounts he has then checking for a reaction.

With ds he could have small amounts of cheese or yoghurt but cows milk upset his tummy. So I gave him calcium enriched oat milk instead.

Does he show any symptoms of reflux now or has he put grown it? Is he/has he been medicated for reflux?
