Best sippy cups...what to do when you stop breastfeeding?

First time mum here...breastfed my DD from birth. She's now 11 months old. Probably going to stop at 18 months - but I'm trying to get her to drink some water at meal times and failing!

I've got a Munchkin Any Angle bottle with sippy straw....no luck.

Kind of lost here...I'm returning to work part time soon and want to be able to leave hubby some milk for her if she needs....

Do I go back to a bottle? She's only ever had expressed breastmilk in a bottle a few times at 3 months. That's it.

IME you will need to try loads before you the 'the one'. I wouldn't use a bottle - remember. she won't be dehydrated as her food is full of water and obviously you're still bfing.

The one that worked for us in the end was a cheap-as-chips own brand Boots one.

And she doesn't really need milk any more so your DH will be fine.

My son went straight to a doidy cup at 6 months and drinks well from it. Give it a go - you might be able to skip the whole sippy cup phase which means one less fight with a toddler.

DD used open cups for water with meals and the Munchkin 360 (not the straw one) for water out and about and for her morning/bedtime milk. They're great as they can control the flow and drink from them lying down and are relatively leak proof.
