Some steriliser/bottle warmer questions for a new dad

Hi, my partner and I have been given a fair few feeding bits n bobs by some friends (bottles, pump). Currently we are sterilising using milton in a tub and warming bottles by whacking them in a bowl of warm water.

While both systems work, they are a little on the slow/cumbersome side. We want to get a warmer and steriliser but because we have a real hotch potch of bottle brands we don't want to buy products and find they are not compatible with what we have.

It may sound like a stupid question, but if we were to buy say a bottle warmer or steriliser from say MAM, would it work with bottles from Tommy Tippee or Medela?

I have a tommee tippee microwave steriliser and put Phillips avent bottles in there

I had an avent steriliser and used a variety of bottles in it. They all fitted. Bear in mind that a steam steriliser has to run + then cool down a bit so you don't burn yourself taking the bottle out - I'm not sure how much quicker it really is than cold water sterilisation. I found it was the washing that took the time!
