Mixed feeding to Breastfeeding

Hello all

To cut a long story short, I want to go back to breastfeeding my 4 month old.
I put her to my breast as often as I can but she gets windy and I feel that perhaps I am feeding her too much?
I have read that mums have spent a day in bed with their babes to increase their production which I am willing to do but if she is getting windy then how often should I put her to my breast without worrying that I am not feeding her enough. (I had weight fluctuations when she was a newborn thus the mixed feeding).

I hope this all makes sense.

I managed to reestablish breast feeding from mixed feeding at about 3 months. Did the 48 hrs skin to skin in bed and fed on demand from there on. Didn't notice more wind though. Do you have a quick let down? She could be gulping in air if your milk is quick?

I'm not entirely sure If i have a fast letdown. She does pull at the breast at times and I put it down to wind or that it's too slow (discovered at 5 weeks I wasn't producing enough milk so put on Domperidone to increase but it didn't work so I fear it could be because of this) but I am determined to try again.

So would DD have to be with me in bed for 48 hours straight to resume EBFeeding?

Sorry been at work and then family stuff..

I just kept DS with me for 2 days solid but had some help from a doula. Is she managing to late her on properly, only ask if she is pulling when trying to feed...

*latch on

She Is latching on and it's not always at the start, could be 5 mins in. I've been nursing since yesterday at every opportunity even when she is just comfort sucking. I just pray she is getting enough and will weigh her next Tuesday. She seems content.
