How can I wean my baby off the breast?

How can I get my DS off the breast? I have tried everything, all the different bottles all the different milks. I express daily and try him with that he just won't take it. He has started biting me (two teeth) and I feel I'm neglecting my first born. Please help!

Go out and leave DP with bottles, the baby will take it eventually. This is what we had to do, hard, but the only option in my case.

How old is baby? Could could try a cup (can cup feed from newborn - Google it to see how). Have you got help/support to stop baby biting ? If that's the only reason you want to wean, you can stop the biting. It's very painful but normal! Usual advice is to pull baby towards the breast firmly when they bite which will make them let go. Say ouch or Mark it in some way, then remove baby from the breast. If old enough to understand you can say things like if you bite you can't nurse etc. I'm sure others have more advice on stopping the biting.

He is 7months, I have tried saying ouch or no and he just giggles, which is the reaction I'm looking for 😂 will a local breast feeding group have any advice?

Possibly- or you could call the national breastfeeding helpline, the LLL helpline, or a local lactation consultant.
