My right breast is malfunctioning

DS is nearly 8mths and bf until now without incident. I also bf my DD to 19mths without incident (aside from the first few weeks of ouch/soreness). So, sensing my complacency, my right breast has decided to shake things up and start malfunctioning. 🙄

Thursday I woke up with a large hard lump across the whole top section of my breast. I recognised it must be a blocked duct and took steps to clear it - warm showers/massage/lots of feeding etc. It didn't suddenly go but slowly decreased to nothing by Friday evening. Since then however, my nipple has felt like it might fall off and feeding bloody hurts. I noticed a little white mark which google/kellymom told me is prob a milk blister. Again, a bit of expressing and gentle exfoliation in the shower and toe curling feeding later yesterday and it seems to have gone...

However, it still hurts to feed. (Which I'm doing quite often with a teething baby at the moment.) I'm putting lanisoh on, but there is no soreness or any cracks to see. My nipple is just generally really tender and sensitive and when I feed it hurts - not just the skin, but the whole thing.

If anyone has any idea what's going on here and what I can do about it I'd be grateful for the advice!
