Fussy formula fed baby

My son is 8 weeks old and the last 4 weeks he has been struggling taking his milk. He seems to act like he wants his milk but is so fussy he refuses it and screams in pain. I took him to the doctors at 5 weeks and as a first time mum she palmed me off saying it’s how babies are and I’m worrying over nothing.
He is gaining weight but I’m constantly bottle feeding him, little and often. He brings up milk after a bottle and sometimes 2 hours after a bottle, suffers from hiccups, arches his back, brings his knees up, is irritable and unsettle at night, hasn’t slept at night longer than 2.5 hours. Yesterday was by far the worst, taking only 9oz all day but then this morning he has taken his bottles with no fuss what so ever. We are currently on mamia formula and have tried infacol, gripe water, colief and baby gaviscon with no real change. I have my 6/8 week check up tomorrow but any help/advice much appreciated
